Tea Tree Oil Saved My Life (Srsly)

Why don't more people don't know about this little miracle oil? A single bottle of Tea Tree Oil can clear out your medicine cabinet, lower your pharmaceutical bill, and save your life —I can vouch for that.

Beauty

As a beauty aid, Tea Tree Oil is one of the most universal products you can buy, and anything that has multiple uses means you spend less money. Tea Tree is a natural antiseptic and astringent, making it an excellent product for your skin. As an antiseptic, it works to fight your acne. I've found that soaking a Q-tip and dotting my acne with the oil straight gets rid of my pimples within three days. It's not quite as fast as more expensive acne treatments, but the tiniest amount does the trick. I also add a little to my daily moisturizer to keep my breakouts under control. Since Tea Tree Oil is also an astringent, adding some to your face wash can help control overly oily skin. Tea Tree Oil is extremely powerful, however, so combining small amounts of Tea Tree Oil with your other products is the best way to go; be very careful applying it to your skin undiluted to avoid irritation.
Tea Tree Oil smells like old people in a bottle.
Just like old people, however,  it knows what it's doing.

Tea Tree Oil is also an amazing product for your hair. According to the Medical and Veterinary Entomology publication, adding Tea Tree Oil to your usual shampoo is just as effective in fighting lice and mites as over-the-counter treatments. It also fights dandruff and promotes shine without changing your regular shampoo and saving you money. Again, with Tea Tree Oil, a little goes a long way, so use sparingly.

Health

Tea Tree Oil is a powerful antiviral. The Journal of Essential Oil Research has conducted studies that point to Tea Tree Oil as an all-natural and effective topical treatment for cold sores and herpes virus sores, shingles, and chicken pox, eliminating pricey pharmaceutical treatments. Again, Tea Tree Oil is a powerful treatment and should be used very carefully, diluted in other products or in tiny amounts, and always topically, NEVER internally.

Tea Tree Oil is also an antiseptic. I use it for cuts and scrapes instead of antibiotic ointments. Combine Tea Tree Oil to eliminate bacteria with petroleum jelly like Vaseline to reduce scarring for a comparable form of treatment. The Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy has also concluded that Tea Tree Oil is often more effective than pharmaceutical antibiotics: this is how Tea Tree Oil saved my life.

I have MRSA, a staph infection that is immune to most modern medicine because of the overuse of antibiotics. This infection attacks the skin in the form of painful boils that, left untreated, can completely destroy the dermis—I'll let you visualize that for yourself. Withing a span of 24 hours, a MRSA boil can grow to an inch in diameter and a quarter inch deep. Eventually, the infection can spread to different organs via the bloodstream and shut down your body. I was hospitalized and told that I was lucky to be alive.

I've had subsequent outbreaks, but luckily, thanks to a tip from a wonderful surgeon, I've been able to maintain a healthy lifestyle completely free of antibiotics. Since my hospital stay, I have not had to set foot in an emergency room or doctor's office because of MRSA. Thanks to Tea Tree Oil, I went from dying in hospital bed to living a perfectly normal life free from fear of infection.
